148,000 illegal expatriates deported since 2013

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti authorities have deported 148,000 illegal expatriates of various nationalities since 2013 – 88,000 men and 60,000 women.

According statistics compiled by the Ministry of Interior, 29,000 Indian men were among the overall number of deported expatriates.




The list also included 16,000 Egyptians, 14,000 Bangladeshis, 5,000 Sri Lankans, 5,000 Nepalese, 4,000 Ethiopians, 1,700 Filipinos, in addition to other nationalities.

Among the women, there were 14,000 Ethiopians, followed by Filipinos (13,500), Sri Lankans (12,000), Indians (7,000), Nepalese (5,000), Egyptians (400), Bangladeshis (200) in addition to other nationalities, according to Al Anba.
