Expats face immediate deportation after four serious traffic violations
Kuwait: Expatriate drivers involved in four serious traffic offences will be deported from Kuwait.
The new measure is part of a tough clampdown which was launched by the Ministry of Interior targeting traffic violators.
The four gross offences conducive to immediate deportation include drunk driving or driving without a licence, exceeding the traffic points, jumping the red lights and excessive speeding.
Kuwaiti and expatriate reckless drivers who exceed the traffic points will also get tough penalties which may land them in jail.
Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for operations and traffic affairs sent a circular in this regard to different traffic directorates.
