External State Security Agency Chief suspended

Kuwait: Kuwait’s External State Security Agency Chief Shaikh Mubarak Salem Al Ali has been suspended from work.

Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Shaikh Khalid Al Jarrah issued an edict in this regard. Al Ali was appointed as undersecretary at the State Security Agency in February 2017.

The minister has also suspended the director of the central prison and 30 other military officers and referred them for investigation for negligence.
